Soft Filler is one of the special materials designed for various furniture manufacturing needs. The distinctive feature of this material is its special surface, which allows easy tightening of the lower layers of the material, preventing movement and deformation of the layers. The structure and characteristics of the surface’s tear resistance allow this procedure to be carried out under significant tension, easily providing the necessary shape to the seat or back surface of a sofa. In this technology, spunbond as an intermediate layer between the synthetic padding and fabric is not used.
The advantage of the Soft Filler surface compared to spunbond is the absence of sharp edges and creases at the folds and curves, as well as the lack of the characteristic rustling sound that spunbond typically produces during use. The filler retains its resilient properties for a long time, is environmentally friendly, highly resistant to fungal contamination, and does not absorb moisture.
