K.TEX joins the board of Directors of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine

On May 21, 2024, an extended meeting of the Board of Directors of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine (CBU) took place, where K.TEX officially joined the Board of Directors. This event brought together representatives of the government, relevant ministries and committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, members of parliament, the business community, and international partners.

Participants discussed the current challenges in the industry and ways to effectively coordinate efforts for the future reconstruction of Ukraine. In particular, issues of certification of construction products were raised, as well as market development principles, including the introduction of circularity, decarbonization, energy efficiency, and environmental standards.

Additionally, the meeting addressed funding opportunities from Finnish government institutions and aspects of cooperation with NEFCO (the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation). Participants discussed in detail the expansion of export credit financing to increase trade between Finland and Ukraine, as well as the search for effective investments for private businesses. Information was presented on the financing process from NEFCO and Finland’s proposals in the construction sector.

The inclusion of K.TEX in the CBU Board of Directors opens new opportunities for cooperation and contributes to achieving common goals in the development of Ukraine’s construction industry. This will not only raise building standards but also make a significant contribution to creating an environmentally responsible and innovative construction sector in the country.
